Japan: American unsure of what he’s getting from censored vending machine
TOKYO – American businessman Tom Hosier was uncertain of what he was getting today when he chose a drink from a vending machine in Kawasaki, International Informer‘s sister site Japanese Jabber reported.
“From a distance it looked good, and I was really thirsty,” Hosier said. “But when I got there, I couldn’t really see what anything was. It was all censored.”
Hosier added that he went ahead and picked a drink anyway.
“I mean I could kind of see it, kind of guess what I was getting,” he said. “I figured it might be different – a bit exotic – but it’s all the same right? My thirst is going to get quenched. And actually it tasted pretty dang good.”
